Having exhibited and sold her works to individuals and museums all over the world, Annick chose to rest her paint brushes in Brussels and to open up her home to friends and family, where she set out to create a welcoming environment full of imagination and originality. As a result each room is an expression of her artistic style reflected in bold colors, elegant design, and original paintings. Although, the house itself is historic with beautiful original crown molding throughout and marble fireplaces, the amenities are anything but. Whether relaxing while taking a bath in the outsized bathtub, catching up on e-mails with our complimentary high speed internet access, or watching a movie on a plasma screen T.V., you will be surrounded by art and accommodated in the upmost comfort with modern conveniences at Maison AZ. Transportation Ideal Location :Maison AZ is at the foot of the Porte de Hal, a 7 minute walk from the main Brussels train station (Gare du midi) and from the Court House (Palais de Justice) with dominates the skyline of Brussels. The famous avenue Louise with its cinemas and luxury stores is a short walk away as well or just one metro stop. There are several bus stops, a metro station, and an underground parking garage all within 200 meters of the house. If you are arriving from the train station Midi Follow the exit for Engelandstraat or rue d'Angleterre and take the street up to the park, cross through the park heading toward the Porte de Hal (the last remaining tower from the wall that used to surround Brussels) and exit at the other end turning right onto rue de la Victoire.
