There is a harmonious blend of rustic dwellings in the architecture of the Relais, in which the antique uses have been knowingly re-valued and redesigned, giving full respect to the features passed down over the centuries. Certain antique structures that had been modified or destroyed over the years have been restored. This ancient hamlet dates back to the sixteenth century but the original core appears to have originated halfway through the fourteenth century when it belonged to the Order of St. Stephen.
