General Description
Bangphlat Resort is the premier traditional wooden resort in Bangkok.
Located a short local bus or taxi ride from the Grand Palace, National
Museum, National Gallery, Wat Pho, Taling Chan Floating Market and the Khao
San Road this resort is truly unique. Built using traditional methods this
resort has all the modern conveniences with all the style and character of
an historic Thai wooden village. Each house has a separate living area,
bathroom, balcony, bedroom and work room. There is Wi-Fi internet provided
throughout the resort and televisions in the private living rooms. The
bathrooms feature large rose-head showers with plenty of hot water
available at all times. Our resort is situated in our peaceful, out of the
way, soi. Being located around 70 metres from the road the only noise you
will hear is the sound of the water running down our fountain. Our
restaurant and coffee shop serve in either our traditional dining area or
outside in one of our peaceful, wooden, seating areas. Though within simple
travelling distance to all the major sites of Bangkok we are located in an
interesting area that is not used to seeing many foreigners allowing you to
experience everyday Thai life in an undisturbed manner. Our friendly staff
can provide information on local markets, temples and other attractions to
give a unique outlook to your stay in Bangkok. Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Khao
