General Description The Darlington Hyde Park is located on Sussex Gardens in the Paddington Hyde Park area of London, less than a 5-minute walk from the Heathrow Express terminal at Paddington station. A tasteful conversion of four former stately Victorian terraced houses has created a rather exquisite, stylish and very charming townhouse hotel with an engaging, contemporary feel. Guests can not only enjoy comforts and personal hospitality of the highest quality......but also find themselves so close to many of central London's major attractions. The comfort and safety of all guests is of paramount importance to every member of our staff with attention to detail on cleanliness and hygiene combined with high levels of professional customer service ensuring the Darlington Hyde Park is always an enjoyable stay. All rates are priced per room, per night inclusive of a full English breakfast, with free Wi-Fi and VAT at current level at the time of arrival. The Darlington Hyde Park prides itself on being a strictly non-smoking establishment with no facilities at all for smoking on the premises and enforcing additional cleaning charges of no less than 50 GBP. Please note that credit cards provided to guarantee bookings will be pre-authorised 7 days prior to the arrival date. Transportation The Darlington Hyde Park is ideally located less than a 5- minute walk from Lancaster Gate Station (Central Line) and Paddington Station, which is the home of the Heathrow Express. The Heathrow Express is the fastest, most secure and reliable form of transportation to and from Heathrow Airport, with services running every 15minutes with a journey time of 15 minutes. The hotel is located north of Hyde Park, halfway between Edgeware Road and Lancaster Gate, giving easy access to M1, M4 and M40 motorways. Parking in London can be difficult, and we advise guests not to bring their cars into central London. If this is unavoidable, you can use the single yellow line on Sussex Gardens between the hours of 07:00 and 20:00. (Your vehicle will be towed outside these times.) There are also 2 NCP car parks nearby and can charge anywhere up to 37 GBP per 24 hours or 5 GBP per hour. Be aware that London council has now introduced a congestion charge for every vehicle entering the congestion zone to prevent traffic conditions in the city centre. The Darlington Hyde Park is now in this congestion zone area as of 01 February 2007.
